Andrew Boyce, with this confirmed on the Official Website, has had his loan spell with Hartlepool extended beyond the initial one-month loan agreed when he went out.

Hartlepool had been quite vocal in wanting to extend Boyce’s loan with this the case so he’ll now stay at Victoria Park until Halloween, 31st October.

Since making his move to Hartlepool the defender has featured for the League 2 side in five-matches so far with Pools boss Ronnie Moore, on more than one occasion, stressing his desire to extend the 25-year-olds loan.

If Boyce isn’t going to get first-team football under Mark Robins at Glanford Park at the moment it makes sense the former Leicester man does this with Hartlepool doesn’t it?

We’ll see if this loan gets extended again into a third-month or he returns to Scunthorpe at the end of this second? Much could also depend on what the future holds for Robins too with the pressure growing on the Iron boss isn’t it!
