Andy Dawson has said that he is focused on playing, but he will love his role with the reserves.

Speaking to the Official Site Dawson said his main priority will be his first team duties, but that isn’t going to stop him from enjoying his coaching role with the reserves.

‘First and foremost I’m coming in as a player and I’ll concentrate 100% on playing. I explained to Brian what had been said at Hull (coaching role) and he said I could play and take the reserves, which is a fantastic opportunity.’

The 34 year old has already completed many of the badges he needs for a full coaching role, including his UEFA B licence and he’ll be takinghis A licence next summer.
