Is Hope a target?

Scunthorpe boss Brian Laws has hinted at a move for former captain Chris Hope.

Hope is now at Gillingham, but has not played since November due to a calf injury.

And Laws could try to lure the former fans favourite back to Glanford Park.

He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: ‘Chris has been troubled by a calf strain.

‘It’s a situation we are monitoring, we are always looking at players with a view to strengthening the team.

‘But the sort of players we will be looking to try and bring in are likely to be on a loan basis.’
