The Scunthorpe run in the FA Cup is continuing for at least one more game, with a replay needed, after the second round draw against Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road on Saturday.

In what were ‘difficult conditions neither side could force a breakthrough in this nil-nil draw but with Scunthorpe, who went closest with Mathieu Baudry clearing off the line for the hosts, now taking the League 2 side back to Glanford Park the Iron would fancy their chances of advancing….

Barnet 0 – 1 Newport

Grimsby v Shrewsbury 19:45

Some interesting results (so far), with some upsets, but on the whole those expected to go through did go through! I would say anyway….

But the stand out results, with them causing upsets to progress, have to be the wins for Wycombe and Exeter beating League 1 opposition in the shape of Millwall and Port Vale respectively, to put them into the next round keep those cup dreams alive!

Which is also the case for Whitehawk as well after a draw with struggling Dagenham on Sunday.

Following the draw we know our name will be in that pot for the draw for the next round, which takes place on Monday night and will be taken as long as the replay is won!

Who was the Iron Man of the Match in this game? That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote.
