There will be a second pitch inspection held at 11.45am ahead of Saturday’s home game with Preston North End.
Last night temperatures reached minus six, and despite the itch being covered. There are areas in front of the Rainham Steel Stand which have frozen through.
With temperatures expecting to get a little bit warmer though the referee has decided to take a second look before noon.
