Karl Hawley could well extend his Scunthorpe stay, with talks planned with the striker to make this happen.

Hawley arrived in the summer on a short-term contract, which expires in January. However Brian Laws has expressed a desire to tie the 31-year-old down to a new deal.

If a deal can be done that is financially viable to The Iron, and in the best interests of all concerned, this is something that should be sorted out soon.
