New Scunthorpe signing Dave Mulligan reckons the play-offs are a realistic target for the Iron this season.
The New Zealand international arrived at Glanford Park this summer from local rivals Doncaster, and is expected to operate at right-back.
He told the club website: ‘I’m glad to come here – to a club that’s on the up.
‘Hopefully we can get into the play-offs. It was unlucky for Scunthorpe to not do it last year.
‘But hopefully this year, especially with Billy Sharp up front, we can get through to the play-offs.’

i think he could be right, u have a good chance to make them next season
Well, he’d look a bit silly saying anything else as a newly signed player. Good for the supporters to hear anyway.
