Bury Refuse To Move Cup Game

Scunthorpe asked Bury to put back their FA Cup first round replay back by 24 hours.

The Iron requested the shift due to the fact they play in a televised League One match against Blackpool on the Sunday before meaning they will only have 48 hours to recover.

However Bury have turned down the request so the tie will be played on November 15th.

To add insult to injury, Bury play their League Two fixture against Mansfield on the Friday which gives them an extra 48 hours to recover.

A tie against Conference side Aldershot is the reward for whoever wins the replay.
