Scunthorpe goalkeeper Sam Slocombe has signed a new deal
The Iron’s number 23 has signed a new one year deal to keep him at the club until 2011. With the option to stay with the Iron for an extra year.
Slocombe aged 21, has been with the club for 2 years, after signing from Bottesford Town in 2008 for a figure of £3000.
He made his league debut against Blackpool on 7 November 2009. replacing Michael O’Connor after Murphy was sent off.
The English shot-stopper also came on as a substitute in the 2-0 Carling Cup 3rd round win over Port Vale. to progress to the 4th round for the first time in their history at Glanford park.
