Scunthorpe’s hopes of getting something at MK Dons effectively ended inside a disastrous opening five-minutes at the stadium:mk on Tuesday.
An early goal for the hosts was swiftly followed up by a second, thankfully that’s as bad as it go though as MK Dons continued their play-off push while we remain very much in League 1 relegation trouble….

MK Dons took less than 90-second to breakthrough with Grigg (2) on hand to make it one-nil with only 81-second played!
When our ‘keeper Daniels brought down Spurs loanee Alli MK Dons had a penalty, and a chance to make it two, with less than five-minutes played. Grigg (5) was the man who took this and one again he scored to make it two.
The more likely side to add goals were the hosts with our threat virtually non-existent throughout!

Our latest setback, thankfully we won our first Easter game, meant that we dropped below Coventry, into 18th place in the table, on goal-difference but remain a few places outside of the bottom four and a point clear….
