This two-nil win moves us three-points clear of Crewe, in the fourth and final relegation spot – but with us having a vastly superior goal-difference, which is worth another point! – and up to 17th in the League 1 table.
We went into the half time break on-one after Dickson (19) deflected a Clarke’s shot into his own net!
The lead was doubled shortly past the hour when top goalscorer Madden (62) was at his predatory best to turn home from close range to leave us very much in control and on for all three-points.

Crawley gave themselves hope with 13-minutes remaining when their top goalscorer, and captain, McLeod (77) calmly finished to reduce the deficit but it wasn’t enough to deny us victory from a game that neither could afford to lose!
